Week after WWEC2010 – 3 in Finland we go on with WWEC2010 – 4, “WWEC2010 Mežezers”, which this time will be located on Odzes lake, at Mezezers sports complex in Plavninas, Latvia. Ice on the lake is 40 cm, covered with 40 cm of snow. Track for STS is already prepared and will be kept clean for trainings, course will be on snow-sledges. Other competition info is here (NoR).

Mezezers sports complex has a cross-country and downhill skiing options. We consider to arrange downhill fun races, if wind will let us to rest. Take your skis and snowboards and don’t forget your friends and fans.  Skiing, skating and tubing equipment is available for rent.

As you can see in the terrain map, the chosen competition area is not the best on S and W wind directions, therefore organizers keep the right to change the racing spot with 5 days notice, but keeping accomodation in same place.

WWEC2010-4 will be the last international event before WISSA 30.th World Championship in Canada. In March there will be two more events: WWEC-5 in Estonia (the last one this season) and WW European Open in Finland.
